Is it a Wonderful Life?

I watched my favorite movie, "It's a wonderful life" with my mother, father, and sister last weekend. I love that movie.
Today, I read an article that the character "Zuzu" didn't have such a wonderful life.
You can read the full story here:
http://entertainment.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/12/05/9226891-life-wasnt-so-wonderful-for-zuzu-actress
Here is a video clip with Zuzu at the end of the movie:
The recent documentary film, Freakonomics had a section that claimed “It’s not a wonderful life” that included clips from the classic movie, “It’s a wonderful life.”
They argue that legalized abortion in the 70s was the reason crime rate dropped in the 90s because unwanted children didn’t grow up to become criminals. The children who were aborted in the 70s and 80s would have been at the age to get involved in crimes in the 90s.
I’m not sure if I totally agree with their research. I do know that I want to be more like a George Baily.
Here are some books about the movie:
The author Jimmy Hawkins was one of the children in the movie.
