Realized when I was 19-years-old (in 1999) that I wanted to be a Recreational Therapist.
Have worked as a Recreational thearpist for nearly 8-years now!
During my 2002 summer internship I felt worried about finding a job in the field. Applied at hundreds of hospitals. Got lucky and had an interview on the final day of my internship. The interview was at a different hospital and not the one where I completed my internship. Have been at this same job since then.
I understand that other students and people who read my e-newsletter could be seeking their dream position. Naturally, I post any Recreational Therapy or related careers at my blog.
