Follow your passion

QUESTION: What is your passion in life? What are you crazy about? What makes you want to get up and go in the morning?

Skateboarding was my passion during my teenage years.
I loved skateboarding. This is what I did every single day that it wasn't raining or snowing with my friends. I skated a lot less during my college years and did some skateboarding up until I was 23-years-old. I'm 30 now and I don't skate as much because the risk of injury is too much for me now. I still enjoy keeping up on pro skaters.

I follow skateboard legend Tony Hawk on twitter. Hawk posted a video of a skateboarder who I was not aware of until now.

During the 90s my favoite skateboarder was Marc Johnson.

I am also a big fan of Tom Penny (Flip skateboards) I enjoyed the make and feel of skateboards made by Flip. I'd say Flip was my favorite type of board.

Ed Templton (creator of Toy Machine skateboard Co.) is another one of my favorite skateboarders. Here is an interesting fact. Templeton often skated with Jason Lee, the actor in the Alvin and the chipmunks movie. Did you know Jason Lee was a skateboarder? Here is a Templton video:
