John Nichols has written a book called, "The 'S' Word."
And what is the "S" word? It is "Socialism."
Traditional wisdom argues that America was founded on "Capitalism."
However, Nichols argues that there is a great history of socialism in American in his book.
Here is an recent example: Helen Keller was an avowed socialist, yet was selected to represent Alabama on its commemorative state quarter.
