The United States is predicted by Citibank to be the 5th wealthiest country by 2050. We’ll be behind: Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea. Here is the interesting part:

The extremely wealthy Singaporeans enjoy: books and reading materials. There appears to be a correlation with the reading and wealth. The relationship relationship between level of education and poverty is fairly well known.

Be a student for life. Read. Read. Read.
