Woodrow Wilson High School Class of '98.

I've been cleaning my aparmtnet and I found an old Woodrow Wilson High School (WWHS) T-shirt.

Wow - that brings back memories. The t-shirt is only 12-years-old (Jan. 2010 post). It's older than most of the children who I provide services for at the hospital.

April 2012 note: I don't recall writing this blog entry about two years ago. I don't know where that T-shirt is at now. Well, next year will make 15-years since our class graduated. Where are we now?

I've provided therapy for children who've been abused at a residential treatment center in West Virginia. I've worked there since 2002. This Aug. will make 10-years working at the same center.

Here is what is written on the back of the WWHS T-Shirt:

Everything I Need to Know I Learned at Woodrow Wilson High School…

You only have two minutes for anything…
Everyone needs a little remediation…
Winning is everything…
Soy is good for you…
How to maneuver through congested areas…
Security guards protect everyone…
Grygiel is guidance...
Straight A’s and “Good Times mix well.”
Pedestrians do NOT have the right of way…
You’ve got to have some RESPECT…
Ducks are our friends…
We make up half of R.J. Reynolds’ income…
Beckley is Basketball…
Art is appreciated, after Channel 1…
“States” has a new meaning.
Everybody’s working for the weekend.
IF there are 7 minutes before 1st period, why do homework
Administration is gifted…
Don’t drive on icy days, parking lots are treacherous…

Friendship is something you never forget…
