Dark Chocolate is wonderful for health

Wisdom about dark chocolate.

Read an interesting article titled, Daily chocolate by keep the heart doctor away by Denise Mann today. Article was published on CNN on March 30, 2010.

Mann reported on a study conducted by Brian Buijsse in Germany. Buijsse found that dark chocolate was healthier compared to milk chocolate or white chocolate.

Pardon my bias, but dark chocolate is my favorite. Think it taste wonderful with a cup of coffee.

Amazingly study showed that people who ate chocolate about twice per week were about 48% less likely to have a heart attack or stroke compared to those who rarely ate chocolate.

Finally some research I can live with. Have heard about other research studies reporting health benefits for dark chocolate.

Of course, this reminds me of the old motto, "too much of a good thing isn't good." My personal warning is for people to not take this information and over-eat chocolate. Reminds me of another motto, beleive this one is in the Bible, "honey is good, but too much of it will make a person sick."
