Getting a 3-year-old to read!

Gage is my one and only nephew. He is very important to me. Hope is becomes an avid reader because I beleive secret wisdom is hidden in books, but a person must be an avid reader to discover these secrets. As you already know from my best-selling book, Discover Hidden Secret Wisdom, I admit that I didn't read a full book until my senior year in high school (in 1998). Since then I've read every book I can on self-improvement, success, motivation, and inspiration.

Naturally, I know the importance of reading. I want Gage to be an avid reader, too.

One of my 2010 goals is to buy Gage a new book each month of the year. In Jan. 2010 I had purchased in "5 Little Monkeys." In Feb. 2010, I purchased him a "Little Einstein book."

Sent an email to my mother (Gage's grandmother) who has been reading to him.

Mother replied back today.

Here is what she had to say in an email:

Dear Son,

I am sure Gage will love the book. I read the 5 Little Monkeys book
again today.

At the end Gage says, "No more monkeys jumping on the beak! I then
say not beak, it's bed and he laughs like it's the funniest thing he has ever
said. We do this all through the book. I am also trying to get him
to read monkey and bed. It will come soon because he is so smart. He
loves that book.

Talk to you
tonight.

Love,

Mom
