The passing of Senator Robert C. Byrd (West Virginia) is tough for me.
My grandmother Donna Keessee had grown up in the same area as Robert Byrd (Sophia – Crab Orchard, W.Va.). She had passed away several years ago. I know she would have been real upset about the passing of Byrd if she was still alive today.
Byrd was a legend in this state. He has done more for West Virginia than anyone else I know.
He’ll truly be missed by many.
I have felt quite depressed over this today.
It is also a good reminder that none of us live forever. Byrd was 92-years-old.
He did a lot with his life. He had set many records in the U.S. senate, being the long-serving Senator and Congressman in history. He had never lost an election. He carried all 55 W.Va. counties in some elections. Byrd had also written the book on the history of the Senate.
What are you doing with your life? Are you following your dreams? Are you going for what you want? Life on Earth is limited. None of us live forever.
Want to discover more secrets on success? If so, read my self-improvement book on becoming successful. It is called, Discover Hidden Secret Wisdom. This book is a system written by a recreational therapist that outlines steps on how to become great at anything.
Get this book. Read it. Enjoy it. Apply it. Use it. Be happy and successful in your life. After all, you only have one life to live.
