I took my mother to Ollie’s outlet in Beckley, WV yesterday.

I discovered a female author with my same name. Her name is “Dani Pettrey.” With a name like that, I had to buy the book. Dani Pettrey's book is called “Submerged,” which is book one in the Alaskan Courage series.

According to D. L. Petry, the family historian, in his (1989) book, Petry, Pettry, Petrey, Pettrey, and alliedfamilies nearly all the people with our name are related back to one ancestor. I’ve not contacted her yet, but I’m certain that I share a common ancestor with her husband.
