Here are two quick reminders:
1.) Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists can vote for the Board of Directors at the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification. All of the candidates are highly qualified. I don’t know any of them personally, but I think any of them would be competent for the board of directors. I’m glad we have them running. I did a facebook search on each of the board directors and added a few of them as friends.

# 2. Our association is voting to change their name to the American Recreational Therapy Association (ARTA) on Dec. 4th. (I think the voting period will last at least a week).
You must be a member of the association to vote on this change. If you’ve not done so already, join the association so you’ll be able to vote.
